1

Create your family account

Sign up with your email, then add each child with their first name and birthday. You can add a photo too. If another adult helps look after your children, invite them as a co-parent.

  • A birthday sets the words their computer uses and the checks DTEX AI makes
  • Co-parents can see everything; you decide if they can change settings
2

Put DTEX Family on each child’s computer

On your child’s computer, open the download page and install DTEX Family. It asks for a 6-digit family code — you’ll find it in your account under Computers → Add a computer. The code works once, for a few minutes.

Installing needs the computer’s administrator account — usually yours, not your child’s.
3

Tell DTEX Family who uses it

The new computer appears in your account. If each child has their own account on it, just pick the child. If the family shares one account, your children choose their name when they sign in — so everyone’s day stays separate.

4

Your child sees what’s recorded

A short notice explains exactly what DTEX Family does, in words for their age. The DTEX Family shield sits next to the clock; a click shows who they’re signed in as and lets them ask you for something.

5

Check in whenever you like

Open DTEX Family on your phone or computer to see today, answer requests and read notifications. It works in any modern web browser.
